June 2012
Houston, Texas. – Swearingen Software, Inc. sponsored Strike Out Cancer Night, along with MD Anderson Cancer Center benefitting Candlelighters, the Childhood Cancer Family Alliance. This event was held on June 24 at Constellation Field, the new minor league baseball stadium in Sugar Land, Texas. The Strike Out Cancer Night was created to support the hundreds of cancer survivors and their families and to celebrate life.
Randall Swearingen, the President and CEO of Swearingen Software spoke about the event. “Swearingen Software is proud, to once again, be a supporter of the Candlelighters. Hopefully, someday, cancer will be a disease of the past, especially in children.” Randall was given the honor of throwing out the first pitch for that game.
The Sugar Land Skeeter players wore special jerseys that night acknowledging Swearingen Software as the sponsor by wearing the Swearingen Software logo on their left sleeve.
